The prestigious Ylvisaker Cup, third tournament of the 2020 18-goal season at International Polo Club Palm Beach, continued over the weekend with two exciting matches. On Friday, Patagones beat Iglehart Cup winner Stable Door Polo by 12 goals to 6, while on Saturday, Pilot claimed a debut victory by defeating Daily Racing Form by 12 goals to 8.
Eight teams, composed of several high goal players, are competing in the tournament. Teams will play a round robin in their respective brackets, before the top two from each group qualify for the semifinals.Â
The final is scheduled for Sunday, February 2. Once the Ylvisaker Cup comes to an end, action will continue with the second edition of the Gauntlet of Polo, which will see a total of fourteen 22-goal teams compete in the championship.
