On Monday, April 11, the United States Polo Association (USPA) announced the new spring handicaps. The most notable changes relate to brothers Barto and Camilo Castagnola, who were both awarded 10-goal status. The changes will become effective on December 1.

Although the first changes have already been announced, the governing body of American Polo remarked that other changes could be revealed after the US Open final, to be played on Sunday, April 24. 

 

Most significant changes:

From 9 to 10:

Barto and Camilo Castagnola (effective as of December 1, 2022). 

From 7 to 8:

Matías Torres Zavaleta (effective as of December 1, 2022).

From 6 to 7:

Jesse Bray (effective as of May 1, 2022).

Ezequiel Martínez Ferrario (effective as of December 1, 2022). 

From 5 to 6:

Roberto Bilbao (effective as of December 1, 2022). 

Mackenzie Weisz (effective as of December 1, 2022). 

From 4 to 5:

Segundo Saraví (effective as of December 1, 2022). 

From 3 to 4:

Joaquín Avendaño (effective as of December 1, 2022). 

From 3 to 5, and to 5:

Keko Magrini (3 to 4 effective as of May 1, 2022; 4 to 5 effective as of December 1, 2022).

From 2 to 3:

Lucas Arellano (to become effective as of May 1, 2022).

Benjamín Avendaño (to become effective as of December 1, 2022).
