On Thursday, November 11, Thai Polo Club Argentina, set in General Rodriguez, Argentina, opened their season, which includes the VIII Thai Polo Cup Argentina, the second edition of the Pink Polo Cup. Thai Polo also announced the team that will be competing in the V Argentine Ladies Polo Open, Thai Polo Nearside.

Among the teams due to play are Eitan Koren’s Campanulata, current title holders, as well as Federico Tomasevich team, the 2017 champions.  The Thai Polo Cup Argentina runs from Monday, November 15, to Friday, November 26.

As in 2019, the Pink Polo Cup Argentina will be also played. One of the most remarkable tournaments played at Thai Polo & Equestrian Club, the 2021 edition will see eight teams, up to 22 goals, compete. The tournament will be a great opportunity to watch players like Hazel Jackson, Lia Salvo, Rebecca Walters, Candelaria Fernández Araujo, among others, compete. Action begins on Saturday, November 20, with the finals taking place on Friday, November 26. 

One of the most important moments of Thursday’s inauguration event was the presentation of the Thai Polo Nearside team, which will be partaking in the Argentine Ladies Open. The team reached the semifinals in 2020. This year’s line-up includes Camila Rossi, Rebecca Walters, Sol López Llames, and Maitena Marré.

As per their  motto, ‘high quality, high hospitality,’ Thai Polo Argentina will also host a Patrons Gala, supported by Bulgari and Laureus Foundation, at Alvear Palace Hotel,
