Scone defeated Valiente by 13 goals to 10 to run out the champions of the Sterling Cup on Wednesday, March 1, at Grand Champions Polo Club, in Wellington, Florida. It was a magnificent final, which included a father-son clash between Valiente’s Adolfo Cambiaso and Scone’s Poroto Cambiaso. While Valiente made one change to their original lineup, Scone has three changes. The Sterling Cup saw four teams, up to 22 goals, compete. The tournament run from February 8-March 1.

 

Poroto Cambiaso scored seven goals in the final and was named MVP. Dolfina C05 Lapa Clone 5, ridden by Adolfo Cambiaso took BPP honors by GCPC, while the American Polo Horse Association presented the BPP Award to Irenita Insignia, ridden by Poroto Cambiaso.
