The prestigious Ylvisaker Cup, third tournament of the 2020 18-goal season at International Polo Club Palm Beach, came to an end in Wellington, United States, on Sunday as Patagones beat La Indiana 9 goals to 8 to claim the coveted title. 

The tournament saw eight organisations, composed of top high goal players, compete. Action at IPC, hosted by the USPA, continues on Wednesday with the second edition of the Gauntlet of Polo, the pinnacle of the US polo calendar.

 

The subsidiary George Haas Cup, expected to be played between Aliano Realty/Horseware and Palm Beach Equine was cancelled.

 

YLVISAKER CUP – FINAL: PATAGONES 9-8 LA INDIANA

Patagones: Joaquín Avendaño 2 (1 goal), Benjamín Avendaño 3 (1), Santiago Wulff 5 (2), Santiago Toccalino 8 (5). Total: 18.

Action at International Polo Club Palm Beach resumes on Wednesday with the CV Whitney Cup, opening tournament of the Gauntlet of Polo, which sees a total of 14 teams, up to 22 goals, compete.
