The Prince of Wales Trophy, hosted by the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, came to an end on Wednesday with the final at Black Bears Polo Club. The tournament marked the beginning of the high goal season in the UK.

 

Andrey Borodin’s Park Place claimed the title after beating Les Lions by 13 goals to 9. Both teams reached the final unbeaten, with a total of two wins apiece. Les Lions scored the opening goal of the final, but Park Place went on to take an early lead and never let up. Brothers Facundo and Gonzalo Pieres worked well together, while teammate Kian Hall scored 6 goals and was named MVP.
