The high goal season in England kicked off on Wednesday, May 19, with the first match of the Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy, where Monterosso narrowly defeated Great Oaks Les Lions by 11 goals to 1o. The match, played on Les Lions grounds, was decided in extra chukka, with Ignacio Toccalino scoring the winning goal. The tournament, hosted by Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, sees twelve teams, up to 22 goals, compete.

 

The final is scheduled on Saturday, May 29.
