It is the final countdown for the British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup, the highlight of the season in England. The much anticipated semifinals are coming up Wednesday July 13, and will see  Dubai, Scone, Place and Talandracas going head-to-head in search for the two coveted spots in the championship match of the competition hosted by Cowdray Park Polo Club, set in Midhurst, West Sussex.

It is worth noting that both semifinals are sort of a rematch – the four teams have played against each other in the league stage. On June 23, Talandracas claimed a 11-10 win over Park Place while Dubai defeated Scone 12-10 three days later, on June 26.

The tournament sees fourteen teams up to 23 goals, compete.
