Marqués de Riscal and Park Place Vaara are going strong and steady in the British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup following their respective wins over Vikings and Great Oaks Les Lions on Saturday, July 12. The tournament, hosted by Cowdray Park Polo Club, set in Midhurst, West Sussex, sees fourteen teams, up to 23 goals, compete.

In the day’s opening match, Marqués de Riscal took a tight 11-1o win in OT over Vikings to claim their third consecutive win in the tournament. The match was a fierce battle, that concluded with Alejandro Aznar scoring the golden goal.
