The semifinals of the IV Women’s Open – which saw six teams, between 17 and 33 goals, compete – took place on Wednesday, December 16, at the Alfredo Lalor Headquarters of the Argentine Association of Polo in Pilar.
First up, La Dolfina Brava claimed a 7-6 win over Don Urbano Nearside, in a match that went to extra time, before title holders El Overo UAE Z7 overwhelmed Los Sauces to take a 14-3 victory.Â
The results mean that La Dolfina Brava will take on El Overo Z7 UAE for the prestigious title on Palermo’s number two, at 2pm on Saturday, prior to the final of the 127th Argentine Polo Open.Â
