The Argentine Association of Polo revealed the draw of the much anticipated 2023 Triple Crown, during an event held at Palermo, on Monday September 11. Players, sponsors, directives, media and special guests were in attendance; representing the teams were Pelon Stirling (La Dolfina Saudi, current reigning champions of the Argentine Open), Pablo MacDonough (one of the two brand new members of La Natividad), Hilario Ulloa (La Hache), Gonzalo Pieres Jr. (Ellerstina), Alfredo Bigatti (La Ensenada), Jejo Taranco (Cría La Dolfina), Matías Torres Zavaleta (La Irenita Clinova) and Carlos María Ulloa (La Hache Cría & Polo).

 

Along the directives who attended the event, were José Santamarina, Vicepresident of the Hurlingham Club; Jorge Anzorreguy, President of the Tortugas Country Club; and  Delfín Uranga, President of the Argentine Association of Polo. The Triple Crown will kick off on Tuesday September 26, with the Hurlingham Open; the semifinals will be played at Palermo and the final at the Hurlingham Club. Up next, the Tortugas Open, that will run through October 10-28; and will come to an end with the most remarkable tournament of the world, the Argentine Open, due between October 31 and December 2. 

 

The draw of the Argentine Polo Open came first. League A will featureLa Dolfina Saudi, La Hache Polo Team,  Cría La Dolfina, La Hache Cría & Polo and the second team coming from the qualification. League 2 will be composed by La Natividad, Ellerstina, La Ensenada, La Irenita Clinova the first team from the qualification.

 

With regards to the Hurlingham Open, La Dolfina Saudi, Ellerstina, Cría La Dolfina and La Irenita Clinova will compete within League A, while La Natividad, La Hache Polo Team, La Ensenada and La Hache Cría & Polo will form part of League B.

 

The leagues of the Tortugas Open will be set following the results of the Hurlingham Open.
