The Campionato Italiano di Polo came to an end on Sunday, October 4, at Roma Polo Club, with the 4-chukka championship match that saw VAS-Pier.Gio narrowly defeat Battistoni-Castelluccia by 8 goals to 7.
The tournament, supported by the Italian Equestrian Federation, was hosted by Roma Polo Club, one of the most beautiful in the world. A few league games, however, were played at Acquedotto Romano Polo Club, located just thirty minutes from Rome.
Nautor’s Swan ran out third, while Acquedotto Romano PC claimed the Roma Polo Club Trophy.Â
