The US Open Polo Championship resumed on Wednesday at the International Polo Club, in Wellington, with the match between Valiente and AUDI. Two matches were due on the day, but the game between Flexjet and Daily Racing Form was moved to Thursday due to bad weather conditions.

Valiente stepped up once again to show why they are the favourites to win the US Open (they have already won the CV Whitney Cup, Butler Handicap and the USPA Gold Cup). The match was defined in the fourth and fifth chukkas, as is common from Valiente this 26-goal season, but Cambiaso and Co. beat AUDI convincingly.
