El Overo Z7 UAE, La Aguada Rioplatense, La Dolfina BP and La Irenita claimed victories on Day 1 of the V Women’s Argentine Open, played on Wednesday, December 1, at the Argentine Association of Polo, in Pilar. The fifth edition of the women’s tournament sees players from Argentina, Germany, United States, France, England, Ireland and South Africa compete. Twelve women will be playing the Open for the first time, including the talented 15-year-old Catalina Lavinia.
The competition sees eight teams, between 17 and 36 goals (women’s handicap), compete. Teams are split into two leagues.
