Tamera and Pilot earned a spot in the semifinals of the USPA Gold Cup, the second leg of The Gauntlet of Polo, following their respective wins against Old Hickory Bourbon y Dutta Corp/Show +, on Sunday March 20, at International Polo Club Palm Beach. The last quarter final match, between Scone and Coca Cola, had to be postponed at the end of the third chukka, due to heavy rains. A new date will be set.
The USPA Gold Cup sees thirteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete. The final will be played on Sunday, March 27.
Tamera beat Old Hickory Bourbon 14 a 8. Old Hickory Bourbon’s Santino Magrini was replaced by MartÃn Valent in the fifth chukka. Meanwhile, Pilot earned a 13-7 winn over utta Corp/Show+ por 13 a 7, and Scone were leading 7-3 against Coca Cola, at the end of the third chukka, when the match had to be delayed due to heavy rainfall.
