The Dubai Challenge Cup, fourth leg of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, came to an end with a thrilling final on Friday, March 19, as UAE Polo reigned victorious over Battistoni. UAE secured the 7-6 win thanks to a spectacular golden goal scored by Jacinto Crotto. The win gave Sheikha Maitha’s team their third title of the year, having previously won the Polo Masters Cup and the EMAAR Polo Cup (they also qualified for the finals of the Dubai Silver Cup and the IFZA Gold Cup, the latter title which they claimed in 2020).
The Dubai Challenge Cup took place at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, in Dubai, and saw eight teams, up to 10 goals, compete.
