The 86th. Tortugas Open, the second leg of the Triple Crown in Argentina, is set to commence on Tuesday October 6, just two days after La Natividad La Dolfina’s success at the past 133rd. Hurlingham Open. And this year, the competition played at the Tortugas Country Club, in Tortuguitas, Province of Buenos Aires, brings some news.

Until 2025, the Tortugas Open featured the eight highest rated teams; this year there’s a significant change. For the first time ever, the competition will showcase ten teams, which means that the contest will last longer (one month and one day). The leagues will include the two teams that emerged from the Torneo Clasificatorio por las Copas Remonta & Veterinaria (Qualification Tournament) – La Zeta Kazak and La Irenita, who were placed in League A and B respectively.

The opening day of the 86th. Tortugas Open will have the following order of play:

1pm: La Ensenada vs. Don Ercole

4pm: Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufu vs. La Zeta Kazak.
