The Setai (Silvestrer Novillo Astrada, Jason Crowder, Nic Roldan, Alejandro Novillo Astrada) earned an impressive 13-7 sin over Audi (Tomacho Pieres, Grant Ganzi, Santi Toccalino), and claimed the High Alpine Cup, the sixth tournament of the Summer Season that’s currently underway at Aspen Valley Polo Club. The round robin contest saw Montain Chevrolet (Michael Payne, Sugar Erskine, Hilario Figueras, Nacho Novillo Astrada) in the third place.
15-years-old Silvestre Novillo Astrada – the son of Ignacio Novillo Astrada, and the youngest player on the pitch, led the winners, by producing six goals. Meanwhile, Audi’s Grant Ganzi and Mountain Chevrolet’s Michael Payne scored six and five goals, respectively.
With regards to the awards, Jason Crowder was named MVP; the BPP honors presented by the Amercan Polo Horse Association (APH) went to Machitos Boogie (Machitos Califa Clone 1/Machitos Blusera), ridden by Tomacho Pieres and owned by Santa Rita Polo Farm.
