The Queen’s Cup continued on Monday, June 14, with two matches. Talandracas and Murus Sanctus La Magdeleine were able to secure respective wins over Emlor and UAE. The prestigious tournament, hosted by Guards Polo Club, sees fifteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete.
First up, at Zacara, Murus Sanctus La Magdeleine – led by a powerful Sapo Caset, who scored nine goals – defeated UAE by 15 goals to 9 . Later in the afternoon, at Great Trippetts Farm, Talandracas took a 11-8 win over Emlor.
The latest results mean that five teams – UAE, Murus Sanctus La Magdeleine, Park Place, Monterosso and Scone – have earned places in the quarter finals. The remaining teams to advance in the competition will be determined after Tuesday and Wednesday’s league matches.
The final of The Queen’s Cup is scheduled for Sunday, June 27.
