Vikings and Park Place emerged victorious in the latest round of the Queen’s Cup on Sunday, June 6. The tournament, hosted by Guards Polo Club, sees fifteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete. First up, Vikings overwhelmed Schockemohle at Black Bears to claim an impressive 14-5 win. Vikings were led by an outstanding Juan Martín Zubía, who scored a mighty twelve goals. The team had John Watson filling in for Siri Bazzoni.

 

Later that afternoon, Park Place and King Power went head to head at Guards Polo Club, in what was one of the tightest matches of the season so far. The game was so hard-fought that it went into double overtime. Facundo Pieres sealed the deal for Park Place, scoring the winning goal to gave Andrey Borodin’s team the 13-12 win.

 

The final of the Queen’s Cup is scheduled for Sunday, June 27.
