The Queen’s Cup, continued on Tuesday, August 11, with two thrilling games at Guards Polo Club, set in Windsor Great Park. Monterosso took an impressive OT win against Segavas, while Park Place defeated Next Generation in one of the most exciting games of the year, which saw the Pieres brothers take on the Cambiaso duo.

First up, Monterosso took a narrow 10-9 win over Segavas, following a hard fought match that was finally decided in extra chukka.

Next, Park Place, who received one goal on handicap, defeated Next Generation 10-9. Park Place’s Facundo Pieres scored eight goals for his team. Both teams had an opportunity to secure the win, but Andrey Borodin’s organisation were able to take the upper hand and claim the victory. Park Place, who remain undefeated in the tournament so far, will now go on to play the semis.
