The draw for the upcoming Queen’s Cup was unveiled on Monday, May 18. Ffifteen teams, up to 22 goals, will be playing the prestigious tournament at Guards Polo Club. Action is set to kick off on June 1, with the world’s best – including Adolfo Cambiaso, who holds the record for the greatest number of wins in The Queen’s Cup – competing for the title. This year he will be playing alongside his 15-year-old son, Poroto, and representing Australian patron David Paradice’s Scone, the organisation that won the title back in 2019.

The Queen’s Cup was established in 1960 to honour Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who has always presented the trophy to the winners. HRH Charles Prince of Wales won the title in 1986 with Windsor Park, the team put together by his late father, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the founder of Guards Polo Club, in 1955.

It is expected that spectators will be able to attend the tournament. The final is scheduled on Sunday, June 27.
