The Queen´s Cup, Guards Polo Club flagship competition, continued through Friday May 26 and Saturday May 27, with two very busy and intense days of polo, with UAE Polo, Black Bears, Scone and Park Place victorious. The 2023 edition of the tournament hosted by the club, located in Windsor Great Park, in England, sees seventeen teams up to 22 goals, in participation.

 

On Friday May 26, UAE Polo recovered from their debut loss, and earned a 14-10 win over Sujan Indian Tigers, as well as Black Bears, who claimed their first win in the tournament against Park Place Vaara, by a 10-9 score. Meanwhile, Scone, led by the father-son duo, Adolfo and Poroto Cambiaso, needed an extra chukka to defeat La Magdeleine 10-9.

 

Action continued on Saturday May 27. Park Place were back to the winning path, against Marqués de Riscal, and Dubai had no trouble at all to overwhelm Clinova by an impressive 18-8 win, as well as take the day’s trophy, the Royal Windsor Horse Show Cup.
