The Queen’s Cup, Guards Polo Club’s most significant tournament, continued through Wednesday May 22 and Thursday May 23. Black Bears, La Dolfina Scone and Thai Polo Get a Drip were victorious on Wednesday, while Cibao La Pampa and Talandracas won their respective games on Thursday. The Queen’s Cup sees nineteen teams up to 22 goals, partake.

 

On Wednesday, Black Bears – with brothers Facundo and Gonzalito Pieres in their lineup – defeated Desert Palm 15-7; the follow-up was one of the most awaited debuts, La Dolfina Scone with Adolfo Cambiaso playing with his daughter, Mia, in English high goal for the first time ever. La Dolfina Scone claimed an impressive 13-7 win over Shoreline. Thai Polo Get a Drip beat newcomers, Gaston, 13-8.

 

Meanwhile, Thursday brought a huge suprise – Cibao La Pampa earned a tight victory over no less than UAE Polo; up next, Talandracas beat White Crane 12-7.
