A new edition of the Oxfordshire Cup kicked off on Tuesday May 5, hosted by the Schwarzenbach’s family club, Black Bears, in Shiplake, Henley-on-Thames, England. The tournament sees six teams up to 18 goals, in participation, including current title holders, Spencer MacCarthy’s Emlor.
Amanara and Las Brisas were victorious in the two first matchdates, played on Tuesday May 5 and Thursday May 7, respectively. Amanara, with Santiago Chavanne and his son, the young rising star, Lorenzo, earned a 11-9 win over Green Gates, while Las Brisas beat Standing Rock by a close 9-8.
The final of the Oxfordshire Cup will take place on Sunday May 17.
