The fourth edition of the Copa La Hache will take place in the namesake club, located in General Rodríguez, Province of Buenos Aires Argentina, through Monday October 26 to Wednesday November 11. The competitive tournament will see ten teams between 18 and 20 goals, partake. Teams will be split in two leagues made of five teams each, who will play four qualification games.
La Esperanza, La Ensenada, Colorado, La Fe, Balanz Capital, La Dolfina Marqués de Riscal, Hípica Polo, Lavinia, Cría Marmén and Cría Libélula are the participating teams, and significant names of the sport will take part of the event – Camilo Castagnola, Hilario Ulloa, Lorenzo Chavanne, Alfredo Bigatti, Jerónimo del Carril and Carlos María Ulloa, among others.
The opening day, will feature four matches, from 11am onwards; the league stage will continue on October 28 and 30, and from November 2 to November 6. Games will be played at six chukkas, with no ties, meaning every match must have a winner. In the event of ties in points between teams, the classification will be solved either through head-to-head or eventually, a penalty shootout, due on Monday November 9.
Two finals will take place on Wednesday November 11 – Copa Clonargen (3pm), between the second placed teams of each league; and the Copa La Hache (5pm), between the league winners.
