At the Cuarto Rincón Polo Club and the C9 Polo Club de Caballería, a new edition of one of Argentina’s most prestigious interior polo events will begin on Tuesday, April 28: the 36th Argentine Interior Handicap Championship (CAIH), a tournament that brings together outstanding teams from several provinces across the country.
Due to adverse weather conditions in recent days, organizers were forced to reschedule the competition, which will now be played over three consecutive days. Six teams, rated between 9 and 12 goals of handicap, will take part, representing four Argentine provinces: Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Santa Fe and San Luis.
Action will begin on Tuesday, April 28 with the opening round. On Wednesday, April 29, the semifinals will be played, featuring the three first-round winners along with the best losing team. Finally, on Thursday, April 30, the finals for the main trophy will take place, along with matches for the Roberto Cavanagh Subsidiary Cup and the traditional Friendship Cup.
