On Sunday February 7, Ankora claimed the Sultan Bin Zayed Polo Cup, that was hosted by Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Therefore, Khalid Alomran’s foursome won this title for the second time – the first has been in 2021 – and the current lineup included two of the players who lifted the trophy back then –  Almoran himself and Ricardo Garrós. Previously, Ghantoot defeated Lamar and won the Subsidiary GES Cup.

The Sultan Bin Zayed Polo Cup saw eight teams up to 6 goals, in participation, and the matches took place in the three grounds of the club, which allow to play with artificial lights if necessary.
