The World Polo Tour has announced the stars of February after what was a month of intense polo, with tournaments like the Ylvisaker Cup, the Julius Baer Gold Cup brightening the international polo circuit.

THE CHOSEN ONES:

•PROFESSIONAL: Pablo Mac Donough
The La Dolfina player always maintains a sense of class, and game after game he proves that he is one of the most talented polo players in the world. He added another title to his impressive C.V. claiming the Dubai Silver Cup in what is his fourth season with Zedan. Mac Donough has managed to establish a successful style of play alongside Amr Zedan and Gato Gándara, who has played alongside him for many years now. Zedan has already qualified for the semifinals of the Julius Baer Gold Cup, the most prestigious tournament of the championship, and we are excited to see how they will fare!

•AMATEUR: Habtoor Al Habtoor
The Wolves patron gave a great performance in the McLaren Silver Cup, where his team reached the semifinal stage. Al Habtoor was the top scorer of the tournament among the amateurs, with six goals. In the Julius Baer Gold Cup his team reached the quarterfinal stage. Al Habtoor was an important playmaker for his team, meshing well with Argentine cousins Ezequiel Martínez Ferrario and Manuel Crespo.

•PICK OF THE MONTH: Bautista Panelo
The young 20-year player won the Ylvisaker Cup as part of one of the most important organisations in the world: Valiente. He scored an important goal in the final and a total of ten throughout the tournament.
