Ghantoot and UAE are to go head to head in the final of the Silver Cup, the opening competition of the Dubai Gold Cup Series, hosted by Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club. After their respective semifinal wins, Habtoor and AM/UAE qualified for the final, scheduled to be played on Friday, February 7, at 3,45pm.

This final, expected to be a thrilling contest between two of the strongest teams of the tournament so far, is set to be particularly special, as UAE and Ghantoot also took to the field in the 2019 Silver Cup final. Last year, Sheikha Maitha’s team beat their opponents 9-8 to claim the title. This season, Ali Al Merri’s boys will fight harder than ever to win the trophy that was denied them 12 months ago.

Prior to the final, Zedan and Dubai Wolves will play for the Subsidiary Hildon Cup, at 1,45pm.

The final of the Silver Cup will be STREAMED LIVE ON PoloLine TV. Transmission will begin at 1,30pm with pre match commentaries for the Subsidiary Hildon Cup, followed by prematch commentaries for the Silver Cup at 3,30pm. The final will be on TV, as well, on Dubai Sports Channel; the repetition is be played at 11pm on Abu Dhabi Sports Channel, all in Full HD.
