Without doubts, Semper Anticus has been the talk of the town thoroghout the whole 2022 season in England. Clarinda Tjia-Dharmadi’s organisation had a remarkable year, having won several tournaments as well as played many finals with lineups that included some of the biggest names of the sport, both in ladies and mixed contests. Stars such as Nina Clarkin, Hazel Jackson, Lucy Coddington, Barto and Jeta Castagnola and Poroto Cambiaso have been given the opportunity to play with Clarinda.

On this occasion, Semper Anticus took part of a ladies competition hosted by Guards Polo Club, the Guards Ladies Charity Polo Tournament. It is a charity event to raise funds for the sponsor’s cause; and this year the club supported Ovacome, the ovarian cancer support charity, that is focused on providing support and information to anyone affected by ovarian cancer.

In the final played on Saturday August 27, Semper Anticus beat AM Polo by a 9-5.5 score. Nina Clarkin was the MVP of the game and Morejon Pelicana, owned and ridden by Milly Hine, was awarded with the BPP blanket.

Meanwhile, Maiz Dulce defeated Polo Performance 6-4, and won the Subsidiary.
