Rouge Absolu Paris took an impressive 8-3 win over DS Automobiles to win the Open de France Féminin at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, located in Apremont, France, on Sunday, September 18. The ladies polo tournament saw six teams, up to 16 goals (ladies handicap), compete. Teams were split into two leagues. Lineups featured some of the most remarkable players in the world – among them, French sisters, Elena, Pearl and Lucie Venot, who played as double title holders with a new team, Coliflow (they were the winners of the 2020 and 2021 editions with Maison Décalé and Polo Park Zurich, respectively).
Coincidentally, Rouge Absolu Paris defeated DS Automobiles by the same score in their last league match. The lineup, under the command of the British 10-goaler, Hazel Jackson, dominated throughout, widening their advantage chukker after chukker and making it almost impossible for DS Automobiles to colme back.
In other finals, Coliflow earned the fifth place after beating L’Oreal (received two goals on handicap) by 8 goals to 2, while third place went to Yves Delorme who needed an extra chukka to defeat Maison Décalé (6-5).
