La Irenita, La Chavita, La Quebrada and La Quinta have qualified for the semifinals of the República Argentina Cup following the last league games held from March 21-22 at Palermo and the AAP grounds, in Pilar.

However, the semifinals for the República Argentina Cup and the two Subsidiaries, due to be played on Thursday, March 24, had to be postponed due to poor weather. A new date is to be confirmed soon.

The tournament, established in 1929, is special because teams rated from 0 to 40 goals, from all over the country, are elegible to play. The final stages are played between Palermo and the AAP grounds in Pilar, while the final takes place at Palermo.

The 2022 edition sees sixteen teams, between 11 and 26 goals, compete. Teams are split into four leagues.

A NEW DATE FOR THE FINALS OF THE REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA CUP, WHICH WERE DUE TO BE PLAYED ON SATURDAY MARCH 26, WILL BE SET FOLLOWING THE SEMIFINALS (DATE TBC).
