Following the delay due to poor weather last weekend, the República Argentina Cup will ersume on Saturday April 20, at Palermo and the Argentine Association of Polo Headquarters, in Pilar. The tournament sees sixteen teams between 16 and 27 goals, partake.

 

The semifinalists will be determined on Saturday; the winners of each league will qualify to semifinals, while those placed second and three in their respective leagues will clash for the two subsidiary trophies, Diario La Nación Cup and Canada Cup, respectively.

 

Once the games due on Saturday April 20 are done, the AAP will set the dates of the follow-up games.

 

The tournament, established in 1929 by the then President of the Argentine Association of Polo (AAP), Mr. Francisco Ceballos, is remarkable because teams rated from 0 to 40 goals, from all over the country, are elegible to play.

 

The República Argentina Cup will resume on Saturday April 20, with the following order of play:

League 1:

16:00 h, Palermo: El Silencio Brava P. T. vs. Venado Tuerto

16:00 h, AAP Pilar: Velay vs. Sol de Mayo Don Ercole

League 2:

12:00 h,  AAP Pilar: Arelauquen P. C. vs. Trenque Lauquen La Fe

12:00 h, AAP Pilar: La Estacada El Refugio vs. Cuarto Rincón El Tigre

League 3:

14:00 h,  AAP Pilar: Oriental vs. Amadeus

14:00 h,  AAP Pilar: Media Luna vs. La Chavita

League 4:
