In the opening match, played on ground 2, El Overo Z7 UAE, with Alfredo Cappella subbing in for the injured Rodrigo Ribeiro de Andrade, defeated La Cañada 13-20. Up next, on ground 6, La Hache claimed a 10-7 win over Chapaleufu.
