Chapaleufu, La Fija, and Alegria Fish Creek claimed wins on Day One of the Qualification Tournament. The competition grants two teams places in the Argentine Open.
The tournament sees seven teams, between 28 and 30 goals, compete. Teams are split into two leagues. The winners of each league will qualify for the most important polo competition worldwide.
The results from the first day of action, played at the Argentine Association of Polo, in Pilar, and at Tortugas Country Club, are as follows:
