Polo resumed in England, at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, with the second match of The Prince of Wales Trophy, a tournament that usually marks the beginning of the high goal season in the UK. Seven 22 goal teams are competing for the title. 

 

Park Place, one of the season favourites, beat Monterosso Vikings, the last team to enter the competition, by 12 goals to 9. Facundo Pieres scored seven goals to become the top scorer of the tournament so far; he is followed in the ranking by German Patrick Maleitzke, who scored 6 goals on Monday. 

 

The finals are scheduled for Wednesday, June 24th.
