The Polo Rider Cup continued at Domaine de Chantilly Polo Club over the weekend with six matches. The tournament, which runs from June 10 – 20, sees twelve teams, up to 12 goals, compete. It is supported by the Federation International of Polo (FIP).

As per the latest results, Polo Park Zurich, Hong Kong, Evviva Polo St. Moritz and Deauville International Polo Club have high chances of qualifying for the semifinals, having secured two wins each. The first teams to advance to the next stage will be known on Monday, when the Group 1 league stage comes to an end.  

The Polo Rider Cup represents a new concept in the sport. The original idea was to bring clubs from Europe together, but it morphed into an international competition, welcoming clubs from Asia and America, among others. It is now a world championship for polo clubs, showcasing the sport on an international level.
