Polo Rider Cup: Dates set for 2022 edition

Following the recent success of the first edition of the Polo Rider Cup, Game Polo – the company that organises and promotes the event – has announced the dates of the second edition. The 2022 championship will be played from June 8 – 18, at the Polo Club de Chantilly, set in the North of Paris.

After a debriefing with the Federation of International Polo (FIP), the French Polo Federation, the Polo Club de Chantilly, and the Founding clubs/teams, it was agreed that some changes will be made for next year’s event, notably that the final will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022, and a Subsidiary Cup will be held during the tournament.

 

In terms of the format, the number of teams participating in the event will stay the same: twelve international clubs/teams, will compete (with a maximum of two clubs/teams per country).
