Polo Park Zurich won the Polo Rider Cup, after an impressive 10-4 win over Deauville International Polo Club, in the final that took place at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly. The championship match took place on the club’s main ground, under the gaze of some of the most remarkable polo personalities, such as Patrick Guerrand-Hermes, founder of the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly; Jean-Edouard Mazery, President of the FFP (Federation Francaise de Polo); and Gonzalo Quesada, Ambassador of the Polo Rider Cup.

 

With regards to the match, Polo Park Zurich dominated the match and the scoreboard from the third chukka onwards, by earning important advantages which they widened in the remaing chukkas. At the end of the day, the took a gap of six goals, and won 10-4.

 

The Polo Rider Cup saw twelve teams up to 12 goal, compete, coming from four different continents, that made the event a true World Championship of Clubs and one of the most remarkable tournaments within the international calendar. In addition, the Polo Rider Cup had the support of the Federation of International Polo (FIP).
