After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, polo returns to Gstaad, Switzerland, with one of the most remarkable tournaments of the international calendar, the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad. The event, organised by Polo Club Gstaad, is set to be played from Thursday, August 18, to Sunday, August 21. The tournament will see four teams, up to 14 goals, compete. Lineups will be composed by players from Argentina, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, United States and France.
Beyond polo, the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad provides a unique experience to the sport. Not only is the tournament played in a splendid setting, with grounds surrounded by the beautiful entourage of the Swiss Alps, but the spectators will be able to watch the games right from the border of the field, allowing a proximity with the players and the horses that is rare in the sport. There will also be a VIP area, delicious catering, luxury goods and a playground for kids. Finally, the teams, on horseback and carriages, will take to the colorful streets of Gstaad.
