The semifinals of the Open de France took place on Friday, at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, with two spectacular matches that were only decided within the last minutes of play. Les Lions Panarea and Talandracas, who defeated Marquard Media and Amanara, respectively, will battle for the title next Sunday, at 3pm.
Not only the championship match of the Open de France is a very important event for polo; to celebrate the tournament’s 20th. anniversary, there will be some extra spice on this ocassion as well. The decisive match will see the biggest sensation of polo playing against each other – the Castagnola brothers, Barto and Camilo, currently the obvious talk of the town in France.
The two semifinals were very well played and very tight, and without doubts, the championship match will be a moment to remember within the 2020 polo calendar, and definetly a game not to miss.
