The Open de France will come to an end on Sunday, September 20, at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, as Les Lions Panarea take on Talandracas in the final, due at 3pm, local time. It is worth to remember that Les Lions Panarea took a 15-14 win in the league stage, in one of the best polo matches ever played on French soil.

Not only the final of the Open de France, a tournament that is celebrating its 20th. anniversary, is a remarkable event for the world of polo. Because the decsive game will see the Castagnola siblings, Barto (19) and Camilo (17) playing each other; they are the biggest sensation of the sport, and the talk of the town in France.

Camilo Castagnola, who scored the goal that secured his team’s win in the semifinals against Amanara is the top scorer of the competition, with no less than 30 goals. Meanwhile, his brother Bartolomé, is perhaps the best player of the tournament.

But it is important to remind that their team mates have been crucial on the path to the decisive game. In addition to Barto Castagnola, Les Lions have Aristide Faggionato, who displayed a very good performance; Dillon Bacon’s remarkable contributions both in attack and defense; and Tommy Beresford, one of the best players of the year and the top scorer within his team.

On the other side, Camilo Castagnola with his extraordinary skills is joined by Francisco Elizalde in his third season with Talandracas and one of the team’s leading men; a young Englishman, Nick Rogerson, who is developing a very interesting growth and he has been already with the team in Deauville; and, of course, Edouard Carmignac, who decided it was time for him to return to Chantilly after many years of absence, and he had produced a couple of goals for his team on their way to the final.

It is indeed the perfect final, a must to see match that is available to be watched for free and with no restrictions on PoloLine TV. Better, impossible!
