Akasha, Jolly Roger, Kazak and Octogone qualified to the semifinals of the Open de France BARNES, following the quarter finals that were played through Sunday September 13 and Monday September 14, at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, in the outskirts of Paris. The most coveted competition in France sees twelve teams, up to 16 goals, partake. Teams are split in four groups.

This is the summary of the quarter finals of the Open de France BARNES:

• Sunday September 13

Akasha 12-11 Talandracas (extra chukka, golden goal by Tomás Beresford)

Score Akasha: (0-1) 2-2, 4-5, 7-7, 9-9, 11-11, 12-11.

Jolly Roger 8-7 Clinova

Score Jolly Roger: 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 8-7.

• Monday September 14

Kazak 7-6 Essso

A dramatic and very tough game, in which Sébastien Aguettant’s foursome needed two extra chukkas to claim the win, with a golden goal by Pedro Chavanne.

Progresión Kazak: 3-1, 4-3, 4-4, 5-4, 6-6, 6-6, 7-6.

Octogone 10-8 Ste. Mesme

Octogone is unbeaten, and the current title holders.
