Mughyrat defeated Legacy 11-7 and claimed the Memorial Manuel Prado y Colón de Carvajal, following the final that was held on Sunday July 12, at Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande, Spain. The foursome, led by Juan Zubiaurre, overturned a very tough start to dominate the match to claim one of the most significant tournaments of the summer season in Sotogrande.

Legacy had a better start, earning a quick 4-2 lead in the first chukka, under the command of their top scorer, Bautista Riglos. However, the second episode would be a very different story; with an inspired Juan Zubiaurre, Mughyrat seized the reins through an accurate job in attack and defense, that allowed Mohammed Hussein’s team to widen their advantage during the remaining chukkas, while Legacy was struggling to stay in the game. At the end of the day, Mughyrat’s strong team play earned them their first ever title in Sotogrande.
