The British Ladies Open Championships came to an end on Sunday with Monterosso Vikings taking the title after defeating Park Place by 6 goals to 3 at Ambersham. The match was the second time this year that Hazel Jackson and Lia Salvo battled it out in a final.  The first clash, played in Thailand, was also won by Brit Jackson.

 

The British Ladies Open Championships saw eight 18-goal teams compete. It was the third tournament of the Victrix Ludorum Tour, a series composed of seven women’s tournaments, hosted at different clubs throughout the United Kingdom. 

 

Monterosso Viking captain Siri Bazzoni skipped the match due to injury. She was replaced by Olivia Merlos.

Score Monterosso Vikings: 0-1, 2-2, 5-2, 6-3.

BPP: Mosqueta, owned and ridden by Milly Hine in the first and fourth chukkas.

 

The next leg of the Victrix Ludorum Tour is the Cirencester Ladies Tournament. Eight 18-goal teams are set to compete. The tournament kicks off on Tuesday, July 21st.

 

THE FINALS OF THE CIRENCESTER LADIES TOURNAMENT ARE SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, AUGUST 1ST, AND WILL BE STREAMED LIVE ON POLOLINE TV.
