Ayala and Nairobi ran out the winners of the Memorial Fundador Enrique Zobel Cup, in the 14-goal and 8-goal, respectively. Both finals were played on Sunday, July 18, at Ayala Polo Club, as were the Subsidiary Trophies. The Memorial Fundador Enrique Zobel Cup sees eight teams, split into two levels (14-goal and 8-goal), compete. 

The 14-goal final saw Ayala beat Marques de Riscal by 10 goals to 7.5, while Nairobi defeated John Smith to take the 8-goal title. 

This season marks a new era for polo in Sotogrande, with Ayala acting as the main host of the action. The club is supported by Minuto Siete, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage Club, and Santa María Polo Club. This season promises to be a memorable one, running through to the end of August, the month when the high goal returns to Sotogrande.
