ATL and P1 Cars El Bambú secured their place in the final of the medium goal Copa de Oro Ayala, following their wins over Royal Salute KPC and John Smith, respectively, in the semifinals that took place at Los Pinos Ground, on Wednesday August 26. Both lineups will clash for for the third and last title of the 55th. Torneo Internacional de Polo, hosted by Ayala Polo Club, on Friday August 28.
Based on a remarkable team lay, ATL defeated Royal Salute KPC in the first semifinal. The former dominated the first chukkas, by building a solid advantage and they were wise enough to maintain thoroghout the whole game, until they earned the first ticket to the decisive game.
Up next P1 Cars El Bambú claimed a victory over John Smith, led by a fantastic performance delivered by Carlos María Ulloa, who produced no less than 14 goals. P1 Cars El Bambú are definetly having the season of their lives – they were runner up of the Copa de Bronce Gluf and victorious in the Copa de Plata Terralpa. And now, they will have the opportunity to win the important medium goal title, the Copa de Oro Ayala.
Therefore, it is expected an unforgettable medium goal final next Friday between two strong teams like ATL and P1 Cars El Bambu, who will clash with the sole aim to lift the last medium trophy of the Torneo Internacional de Polo, in Sotogrande.
