Marques de Riscal claims Open de France; DS Automobiles wins Feminin Open

The Open de France, main tournament of Polo Club Domaine de Chantilly and last leg of the French Triple Crown, came to an end on Sunday. Teams up to 16-goals were in competition. The club also held the final of the 8th Open de France Feminin, and the final of the 8-goal Trophee Castel.

 

At midday, the women opened fire with the final of the Open de France Feminin between DS Automobiles SM and Hyatt Regency Chantilly. The match was live streamed by PoloLine TV. It was a thrilling match, decided in the last minutes by top player Lia Salvo, who scored to secure the win for DS Automobiles SM.

 

After a lunch break and the threat of rain, Alejandro Aznar’s team, Marques de Riscal, who were debuting in the tournament, took on season regulars Marquard Media. It was a tight game, but Marques de Riscal dominated to secure the victory and take their first ever Open de France title.
