Malaysia gets ready for the most remarkable tournament ever

Malaysia is set and ready to host the most significant competition in the country’s history, the Johor Super Crown Polo Tournament, a competition that will bring together the brightest names in the sport alongside international patrons and Malaysian royalty.

 

The historical and traditional Royal Johor Polo Club will welcome five elite teams up to 22 goals, who will compete during six days on Istana Pasir Grounds. The event is more than a polo tournament – it is an exclusive mix of luxury hospitality, cultural exchange and global network, with the aim to establish Johor as the premier destination for international luxury sports tourism.

 

The five lineups that are due to play the tournament feature international patrons, Malaysian rolalty and some of the biggest names of the sport, such as Juan Martín Nero, Polito Pieres, Nachi du Plessis, John-Paul Clarkin, Gonzalo Pieres Jr., Matías Mac Donough, Nacho Figueras, Nic Roldán, Alejandro Novillo Astrada. All of them will deliver their best skills and horsemanship through September 1-6.

 

There are big expectations over the Johor Super Crown Polo Tournament  – it will celebrate and honor Johor Royal Polo legacy on a global stage, providing an exclusive lifestyle and unique hospitality experience for more than 500 daily VIP guests.
